Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina confirmed that President Mahmoud Abbas refused prejudice to any of the sovereign symbols of any of the brotherly Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates.
Abu Rudeineh stressed the keenness of president Ababs and the State of Palestine on fraternal relations with all Arab countries on the basis of mutual respect, with the necessity of the Arab brothers adhering to the Arab Peace Initiative, as it came in 2002.
