President Mahmoud Abbas met today his Egyptian counterpart, Abdul-Fattah el-Sisi, on the sideline of the Third Youth Forum in the seaport resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, where the two leaders discussed issues of mutual concern to the both countries.
The two leaders discussed the latest developments in Palestine as well as the Arab support for Palestine in the international fora, in addition to the upcoming presidential and legislative elections in Palestine.
Attending the meeting were Hussein el-Sheikh, the Chairman of the Civil Affairs Commission; Rohi Fattouh, the Commissioner-General for International Relations at Fatah movement, and Palestine’s ambassador to Egypt, Diab al-Louh.
