President Mahmoud Abbas took part yesterday in launching the third edition of the World Youth Forum in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
The forum discusses the sources of energy in the Mediterranean, food security in Africa, climate change and international security.
During the second day of pre-forum workshops that took place on Friday, participants discussed the themes of International Food Security, Youth’s Initiative for Action, Enabling Persons with Disabilities Towards an Inclusive World, Prospects of Education & Capacity Building in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Age.
According to the forum’s schedule, participants would attend 24 sessions and 14 workshops to mainly discuss the prospects for sustainable development in Africa, challenges facing creative work in the age of technology, in addition to the energy sector in the Mediterranean countries.
