Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh tonight condemned the Israeli demolition of Khirbet Humsa al-Fouqa community in the occupied Jordan Valley and the displacement of its residents, describing it as state terrorism.
He said in a statement that Israel’s demolition of shelters and animal sheds, as well as the seizure of tents that belong to two local families with 85 people, is “organized state terrorism, which involves ethnic cleansing of the indigenous population by favoring the settlers in the Israeli election campaigns for which our people pay for with their land, property, and suffering.”
Shtayyeh called on the international community to immediately intervene, condemn this operation, and provide protection to the Palestinians in the villages, towns, and hamlets facing large scale demolition of their homes and confiscation of their lands.
