President Mahmoud Abbas expressed today his best wishes to His Holiness Pope Francis and all Christians around the world on the occasion of Christmas Day.
In an official letter sent to the Pope, President Abbas said, “We are pleased to extend to your Holiness the most beautiful heartfelt congratulations, on the advent of Christmas, wishing your Holiness health and happiness. May God protect you and the whole world from the coronavirus pandemic.”
“We continue to believe that justice and peace will triumph in Palestine, whose blessed city Bethlehem hosted the birth of the child Jesus,” said the President in his letter.
