A spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency said that President Mahmoud Abbas highly appreciates the positive role played by the Palestinian community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its contributions over the past decades in strengthening the brotherly relations between the Palestinian and Emirati peoples.
The official spokesman expressed the confidence of President Abbas and the Palestinian leadership in the awareness of the Palestinian community in the United Arab Emirates and other brotherly and friendly countries to prevent any attempts aimed at creating a rift between them and the people of the countries they live in, expressing the belief that the Palestinian communities in general, including the one in the United Arab Emirates, will continue to be a constructive element and will not be part of any passing crises that arise for this or that reason.
