The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry said today that the number of confirmed COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases among Palestinians in the diaspora has risen to 1070 , with 53 deaths.
It said 301 Palestinians living abroad have recovered from the disease.
In the United States, the ministry said two Palestinians have died from the novel coronavirus, while at least one more Palestinian in the country have tested positive for the disease, raising the total confirmed cases among Palestinian expatriates in the country to 641.
In Belgium, the Palestinian embassy in the country said 24 Palestinian expatriates in the country have recovered from coronavirus.
In Canada, the Palestinian General Commission said at least one death was reported among the Palestinian community in the country, for a Palestinian cancer patient in the city of Windsor.
The ministry said no more new cases among the Palestinian expatriates in other countries were registered during the past 24 hours.
