The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement today that the ” international apathy towards the suffering of the Palestinian people, has encouraged the Israeli occupation forces and settlers to carry out more attacks against the defenseless Palestinian people.”
The ministry called on the international community, on top of which the UN Security Council and the UN Secretary-General, to implement the international protection mechanism for the Palestinian people ” before it is too late.”
It directly blamed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the recent rise in settlers’ attacks against vulnerable Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank.
