Nabil Abu Rudeina, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, said today that Jerusalem and the independent Palestinian national decision are key national issues that are “not for sale”.
He added that the Palestinian position, which has brought down the “deal of the century” and the Bahrain workshop, is capable of coping with all the challenges and plots that are aimed at liquidating our national cause.
Abu Rudeineh pointed out that the Palestinian leadership will not remain silent towards the undermining of the Arab Peace Initiative, the resolutions of the Arab and Islamic summits, as well as UN Security Council Resolution 1515, or towards any tampering of the collective rights of the Palestinian people.
“The correct address for making a just and comprehensive peace is Ramallah and the Palestinian leadership, headed by President Mahmoud Abbas, through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital in accordance with international legitimacy decisions, and peace will not be at any price,” he concluded.
