Our community in Tunisia condemned the UAE-Israel deal on normalization between two countries, which constitutes a blatant departure from the official Arab consensus on an issue that was and will remain the core of the conflict in the region.
The community said today in a statement, Saturday, that the Emirati-Israeli normalization will not change the realities of the conflict, nor the nature of the occupation project in Palestine, whose aggressiveness has increased following previous normalization deals that only contributed to prolonging the conflict and raising the cost of our people’s struggle to recover His rights and strengthening his steadfastness.
Furthermore, The Palestinian community in Belgium and Luxembourg condemned the deal announced by US President Trump, considering it a blatant attack on Palestinian rights and a violation of all Arab and Islamic decisions, and a direct participation in the implementation of the so called ”American Deal of the Century”.
In a statement issued Friday, the community affirmed its support for the positions of the Palestinian leadership that what the UAE had done was a betrayal of the Palestinian people, Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa Mosque and its Christian holy sites, and a recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The community emphasized that the steadfastness of our people and its leadership, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, and the support of the loyal Arab people is what thwarted the annexation, and our people are no longer deceived by these tricks and maneuvers that only serve the occupation.
