President Mahmoud Abbas met today in Riyadh with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during which he briefed the prince on the latest political developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, land, and holy sites.
President Abbas affirmed that Palestine and its people stand by the Saudi kingdom in face of the attacks against it, praising the Saudi continuous support of the Palestinian people and their just cause at all levels.
The meeting was attended by Saeb Erekat, secretary general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the head the General Authority for Civil Affairs Hussein al-Sheikh, the head of the General Intelligence Service Maj. Gen. Majed Faraj, the president’s advisor for diplomatic affairs Majdi Al Khalidi, and Palestine’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bassam Al Agha.
