Prime Minister Mohamed Shtayyeh met with his Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouly on Monday in Cairo.
Shtayyeh, who is heading a big ministerial delegation, visits Egypt at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouli.
This is Shtayyeh’s first official visit to Cairo. It falls within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to foster bilateral ties at various levels and to continue coordination on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
In addition to meetings between the two premiers, Madbouly and Shtayyeh will co-chair sessions in which Egyptian and Palestinian ministers will take part.
