Pope Leo XIV said on Sunday that the two-state solution is the only way to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, stressing that any resolution must include the establishment of a Palestinian state, reaffirming the Vatican’s position.
Speaking to journalists on a flight from Turkey to Lebanon, the Pope said, “We all know that at this time Israel still does not accept that solution, but we see it as the only solution.”
