Dr. Mohamed Ghareeb, Secretary-General of the Fatah Movement in Egypt, met with Wilmer Omar, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Egypt, on Monday, September 23, 2024.
The discussion focused on the urgent need to end the Israeli assault on Gaza, which has caused unprecedented devastation and loss of life over the past year. They also addressed the ongoing violence and destruction in the West Bank perpetrated by the occupation forces and settlers.
Both parties emphasized the importance of achieving comprehensive peace through the restoration of Palestinian rights, ensuring freedom, justice, and the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Ambassador Omar reiterated Venezuela’s unwavering support for Palestinian rights and the strong relationship between Venezuela and Palestine.
