President Mahmoud Abbas today called his Lebanese counterpart, Michel Aoun, offering his condolences and support for Lebanon and the victims of the explosion in Beirut.
President Abbas expressed the solidarity of Palestine and its people with Lebanon in this affliction and his readiness to provide all possible assistance to help Lebanon deal with this tragedy.
He also called for a day of mourning in Palestine.
