Israeli Violations in Palestine
The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on our Palestinian people by violations against prisoners in the occupation prisons, Establishing Israeli settlement in the Palestinian territories, military notifications, settler attacks, arrests among Palestinian citizens and children, acts of Judaization of Jerusalem, and racist statements in the Israeli media.
July 19, 2020
• Israeli occupation forces detained Adnan Gheith, the Palestinian Authority’s Governor of Jerusalem, after raiding his home in the city.
• A group of illegal Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian private-owned agricultural land near the village of Beita, south of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank.
• group of fanatic settlers torched hundreds of olive trees in the nearby villages of Burin and Madama
July 20, 2020
• Israeli soldiers destroyed an anti-corona checkpoint set up by Palestinian security at the entrance to the northern West Bank city of Jenin in order to contain the spread of the disease, and injured a Palestinian man during clashes at the city’s refugee camp.
• The Israeli military demolished a Palestinian-owned house in the town of al-Khader, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, under the pretext it was built without a permit.
• An Israeli court remanded in custody the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) Jerusalem governor Adnan Ghaith for seven days.
• A Palestinian prisoner behind Israeli bars has tested positive for the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
July 21, 2020
• Israeli forces uprooted more than 200 olive trees in the village of Deir Istiya, west of the northern West Bank city of Salfit.
• Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian-house in Qarawet Bani Hassan town, west of the northern West Bank city of Salfit, despite an Israeli court injunction.
• Israeli forces detained six Palestinians from the West Bank districts of Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Hebron, including an elderly man and his son.
• Israeli military demolished tin-sheet structures in Birin, one of the localities comprising Bani Naim town, east of the southern West Bank city of Hebron
• An Israeli army bulldozer demolished a carwash shop belonging to a Palestinian resident in the town of Beit Ummar to the north of Hebron, the southern occupied West Bank.
• Israeli forces distributed notices to demolish a residential room and to stop the construction work on a residential dwelling in Masafer Yatta to the south of the southern West Bank district of Hebron.
July 22, 2020
• The Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem demolished a Palestinian-owned house that was still in the construction stage in East Jerusalem’s Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood.
• Israeli settlers blocked a main road in the north of the West Bank and attacked Palestinian vehicles travelling on that road.
• A Palestinian resident of al-Twwaneh, in Masafer Yatta in the south of the West Bank, was told by the Israeli military that his two-room home will be demolished, today said Rateb al-Jabour.
• The Israeli military issued demolition and stop work orders against several Palestinian structures in the Walaja village, west of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.
• Israeli forces detained at least 14 Palestinians in multiple West Bank raids.
• Israeli police stormed two Palestinian-run cultural centers in the occupied city of Jerusalem and seized document.
July 23, 2020
• Israeli forces delivered military demolition and stop-construction orders against several structures in al-Walaja village, west of Bethlehem city.
• Israeli occupation military vehicles infiltrated Gaza border to the north of Beit Hanoun town in the northern besieged enclave and razed farmlands.
• A couple of arson and destruction incidents in the occupied West Bank were connected to Israeli settlers.
• An undercover Israeli police force abducted an 12-year-old Palestinian child from the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Isawiya.
July 24, 2020
• Israeli settlers stormed al-Badhan village, a picturesque springtime holiday destination, northeast of Nablus city.
• The Palestinian Authority’s Governor of Jerusalem Adnan Gheith was remanded in Israeli occupation’s custody for an additional seven days.
• At least four Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces during the weekly protest against Israeli settlements, which takes place every Friday in the village of Kafr Qaddum, near Qalqilia city in the northern West Bank.
• Israeli forces delivered stop-construction orders for three houses in Beit Sakariya village, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem

• Dozens of illegal Jewish settlers entered an agricultural land near the village of Huwara, south of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank, and set fire to Palestinian-owned olive and almond trees.
