The Palestinian Higher National Committee for Confronting the Annexation Decision said a rally will be held in Ramallah next week to show Palestinian strong opposition to Israeli plans to annex a large part of the occupied West Bank.
It said in a statement that the rally will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 in the afternoon local time (14:00 GMT) at Ahmad Shuqeiri Square in al-Bireh, Ramallah’s adjacent city.
The committee called on people to join the rally, the fourth in a series of anti-annexation rallies, “to foil annexation, end the occupation and establish the independent and free state of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.”
The first three rallies were held in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, the targeted area in the Israeli annexation plan.
