Over 991 native Palestinians in Israel have been tested for the novel COVID-19 (coronavirus) ever since the outbreak of the pandemic in Israel in February, today said the emergency committee in charge of monitoring the coronavirus crisis in the native Arab communities in Israel.
The committee said 148 active cases are in the town of Deir al-Asad, 103 in the town of Hura, 19 in Majd al-Krum, 79 in Um al-Fahm, 57 in Rahat, 49 in Tayibe, 43 in Jisr az-Zarqa, 34 in Bi’ina, and 32 in Daburiyya.
To date, 16,193 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Israel, which occupies the Palestinian territories, according to the Israeli Ministry of Health. 9,634 patients have recovered and 230 others have died.
