Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad al-Maliki, said that the ministry is working through our embassies abroad to find a quick solution for Palestinian citizens stuck in any country and to facilitate their transfer within available means.
Malki said in a press statement today in response to requests and appeals of a number of Palestinians stranded outside their homeland, that the Palestinian side is committed to the current Jordanian government’s Coronavirus travel restrictions for anyone coming from abroad, including Jordanians and Palestinians, to be self-quarantined for 14 days.
He thanked the Jordanian government’s equality of treatment to Palestinian citizens and the provision of all necessary measures to protect them from the Coronavirus outbreak.
The minister stressed that all efforts are being exerted to overcome all obstacles for the return of all Palestinians back to their homes and families as soon as possible within the available means and in coordination with the Jordanian side.
