26-27 / 3/1939: – The battle of Sanur near Jenin: – The heroic leader Abd al-Rahim al-Haj Muhammad was returning from Syria, where he resorted to because of the enemy’s pursuit of him three years ago because of his heroism and his revolutionary leadership in Mount Nablus (Jabal al-Nar). He refused to stay in Syria and lead the revolution from there, demanding that he be supplied with weapons only. He stayed in the village of Sanur with some of his Fidae’i companions. However, the enemy was known to have arrived. Large forces came and besieged the town, and an unequal battle took place throughout the night. Al Mujahid Rafik Al-Qassam, Farhan Al-Saadi, Abu Dayyeh and others were martyred, and he was buried in his town (Dhanabah) between Tulkarm and Nablus, which is in (47), of his age (1892 -1939).
