The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) unanimously called today in an extraordinary meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at the level of foreign ministers to reject the US plan for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict called “deal of the century” and called on member states not to interact with it or cooperate with the US administration in implementing it any shape or form.
It called in its final communique in the meeting held to discuss the American plan on the US administration to adhere to the agreed international and legal references to achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
It stressed its rejection of any unilateral plan or deal for a settlement that does not go in line with the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people as stated in United Nations resolutions, while holding Israel responsible for the deterioration in the situation in Palestine.
The OIC said also that it stands by the Palestinian people and their sole and legitimate representative, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), and President Mahmoud Abbas in facing any conspiracy aimed at the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, warning against taking any step or measures to entrench its colonialist occupation on the land of the State of Palestine.
