The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) said that Netanyahu’s statements on his intention to declare Israeli sovereignty over the settlements in the West Bank represent an aggression against the Palestinian people and a flagrant violation of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy. However, the Palestinian people will resist them in all forms.
The Fatah movement said in a statement issued on Sunday by the Information and Culture Commission, that this aggressive, racist and expansionist approach of the Israeli far-right government draws encouragement and support from the Trump administration, which is trying to liquidate the Palestinian issue through the so-called deal of the century. Stressing that the Palestinian people and their legitimate national leadership categorically refused to deal with this deal which is a shame on humanity and on the international law system.
Fatah also stressed that all the masses of our people will confront the aggression of the government of extremism and racism, and that Netanyahu’s expansionist plans will not change the truth in any way.Palestinian land is occupied territory and every act of occupation is invalid and illegal as stipulated in the Fourth Geneva Convention and international law in general.
Fatah called on the Arab nation to rise and sense the danger to itself and its fate as a nation of Israeli occupation and expansion policy.
And said: The colonial project does not target the Palestinian people alone, but it targets all the Arab nation, calling on the international community to face its responsibilities in protecting international law from any violation.
