The number of candidates in the Kingdom of Norway has risen to 7 Palestinians to run for municipal elections, all of them belonging to the Socialist Red Party, which supports the Palestinian right, and calls for severing relations with Israel, and improving living conditions of the refugees living in Norway.
The candidates are, Emtethal AlNajar, Bisan Mansour, Suhad Abu Shammala, Tariq Abu Nahl, Nawar Salman, Mohamed Ghannam, and Maher Shaqoura.
It its worth mentioning that the candidate Emtethal AlNajar arrived in Norway worked to highlight the role of Palestinian women, and established a branch of the Palestinian Women’s Union as the first branch in Europe to serve Palestinian women.
