President Mahmoud Abbas sent today identical letters to regional leaders in an effort to curb the ongoing Israeli escalation of violence across the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem
To this end, the President sent letters to the President of the Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Pope Francis, the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel, the President of the African Union and President of Senegal Macky Sall.
The latest move by President Abbas aims to demand the world countries and international organizations to intervene to provide international protection to our Palestinian people, and to press the Israeli occupation authorities to respect international law and stop the attacks on our people and our holy sites.
