President Mahmoud Abbas discussed today evening during a telephone call with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the latest serious developments in Palestine as a result of the Israeli authorities’ brutal and aggressive practices, including the killings and arrests of Palestinians and the wide-scale destructive incursions of West Bank cities, villages and refugee camps.
The Emir of Qatar affirmed the seriousness of what is happening and his solidarity and readiness to do everything possible for Palestine.
President Abbas thanked the Emir of Qatar for his keen interest, affirming the seriousness of what is happening, which he said will require the leadership to convene and take the necessary decision in this regard.
