Exports increased in December by 10% compared to November and it also increased by 16% compared to December 2019 and reached $128.3 million, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
Exports to Israel increased in December by 18% compared to November, and it represented 83% of total exports in December.
On the other hand, exports to other countries decreased by 19% during the same period compared to November.
Imports also increased in December by 15% compared to November, and it also increased by 1% compared to December 2019 and reached $515.4 million, said the PCBS.
Imports from Israel increased by 8% in December compared to November, and it represented 53% of total imports in December.
At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 24% compared to November.
The trade balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, showed an increase in trade deficit by 17% in December compared to November, while it decreased by 3% compared to December 2019 and reached $387.1 million.
