The Arab foreign ministers are going to meet on Monday in Cairo to discuss only one topic: the Palestinian question, today said Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Malki.
He told the official Voice of Palestine radio that an agreement has been reached on a draft resolution that would be issued at the meeting that would send a clear signal to all countries, including Israel and the United States, that despite the normalization of relations between some Arab countries and Israel, all Arab countries, without exception, are committed to the Arab Peace Initiative, and come together to support the Palestinian cause and the establishment of the independent Palestinian state.
Malki said President Mahmoud Abbas, King Abdullah II of Jordan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi have agreed in their last meeting to start joint efforts to heal the rift and bring together the Arab position that supports the Palestinian cause.
