Mahmoud Abbas today welcomed holding the Gulf Cooperation Council /GCC/ summit in Saudi Arabia, wishing it success in achieving its goals of unity of the Arab states in light of the challenges facing the Arab nation.
The President praised the efforts of Kuwait in bridging the rift between the GCC states and the holding of this important summit, stressing that achieving reconciliation between the brothers in the Gulf states strengthens joint Arab action and defends the Arab nation’s issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.
