President Mahmoud Abbas started today an official two-day visit to the State of Qatar, said Palestine’s ambassador to Doha Munir Ghannam.
He told official Voice of Palestine radio that the President will meet the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to discuss with him bilateral relations and the latest political developments in Palestine and the rest of the region.
Ghannam said the delegation accompanying the President in his tour will meet their Qatari counterparts to discuss a couple of issues of mutual concern for the two countries.
