The Palestinian Motor Sport and Motorcycle Federation (PMSMF) gained full membership in the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) during an online Congress meeting; the general meeting of members and the highest authority of UCI.
The Palestinian cycling federation won by an absolute majority of 40 votes for full membership in the UCI.
Abdullah Sharawi, chairman of the Palestinian Motor Sports and Motorcycles Federation (PMSMF), stressed that this achievement has positive consequences for cycling in Palestine, including the right to compete in international tournaments, participate in all congress meetings, and to benefit from all events and programs posed by UCI.
