Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry, said today that his country’s position regarding the Palestinian issue has not changed, affirming Pakistan’s full support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
“Our position has not changed, and we insist that the Palestinian people obtain their full right, and we support them in that,” he said.
He stressed that Pakistan supports the two-state solution according to resolutions of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Palestine, the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital, and the achievement of security and stability in the region.
