The Palestinian community in Rome and La Zio, in cooperation with the Palestine Red Crescent Society, organized a charity dinner dedicated to the victims of the massive explosion of Beirut Port , in the presence of dozens of Palestinian, Lebanese and Arab communities.
The head of the Palestinian community, Yusef Salman, talked about the goals of the dinner, and the struggle between the two brotherly peoples, the Palestinian and Lebanese. He stressed that the Arab national and humanitarian duty requires us all to stand together in support of brotherly Lebanon in its recent ordeal, pointing to the great support that Lebanon has provided for years to the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people in their struggle march against the Israeli occupation.
For his part, Ghassan Hammoud, one of the activists of the Lebanese community, appreciated the effort made by the Palestinian community, which confirms the depth of fraternal Palestinian-Lebanese relations.
