The Egyptian President reaffirmed the necessity of finding a just solution to the Palestinian issue and for the Palestinian people to gain independence in their state with its capital, East Jerusalem, on the 1967 borders in accordance with United Nations resolutions, pointing to Egypt’s rejection of any unilateral solutions that are inconsistent with international law because it will lead to fueling the conflict and creating instability in the region.
