Israeli Violations in Palestine
The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on our Palestinian people by violations against prisoners in the occupation prisons, Establishing Israeli settlement in the Palestinian territories, military notifications, settler attacks, arrests among Palestinian citizens and children, acts of Judaization of Jerusalem, and racist statements in the Israeli media.
May 31, 2020
- Israeli authorities demolished four houses under construction in the Arab town of Tira in Israel, under the pretext that they were being built without a permit.
- At least four Palestinians were detained this day by Israeli occupation forces inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem.
- Israeli occupation forces informed residents of Birayn, a small village near the town of Yatta to the south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, about their intention to demolish five residential structures and the building of the village’s council.
- Israeli forces seized an agricultural tractor belonging to a local Palestinian resident in the village of Az Zubeidat to the north of Jericho, the occupied West Bank.
- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian minor after shooting and injuring him near the village of Kafr Malik to the East of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.
June 1, 2020
- The Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem the day before issued an order to evict and demolish 200 decades-old Palestinian-owned industrial structures in Wad al-Joz neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem.
- Israeli forces seized bulldozers, a water tank and a water irrigation system in al-Jiftlik village in the occupied Jordan Valley and declared the area a closed military zone.
- Israeli forces detained 23 Palestinians, including two former prisoners and two minors, from various parts of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
- Palestinian prisoner from Jenin’s town of Araneh in the occupied West Bank, entered today 17 years in Israeli jails, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
June 2, 2020
- West Jerusalem’s Israeli municipality demolished six under-construction structures in Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, according to their owner, Mohammad Za’atra.
- Israeli navy targeted Palestinian fishermen in the sea off Gaza City, while soldiers infiltrated the borders east of the city and razed land
- Israeli forces detained early this day at least 20 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
- An Israeli settler razed lands in Arab al-Malihat area, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, in order to build a wall.
- Israeli forces raided and wreaked havoc in a Palestinian home in al-Hadidiyeh area in the northern Jordan Valley
- Israeli forces notified for the demolition of a Palestinian-owned house in the village of Deir al-Asal al-Foqa to the southwest of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, said the owner.
- Israeli settlers attacked this day evening a Palestinian house in the village of Burin to the south of Nablus, the northern occupied West Bank.
June 3, 2020
- Israeli forces tore down several residential structures and tents in Masafer Yatta in the southern Hebron hills.
- Israeli forces Wednesday overnight rounded up 11 Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
- Israeli forces demolished five residential structures and two animal sheds in Deir Hajle Bedouin community to the east of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho.
- Palestinian political prisoner in Israel, Mahmoud Issa, has completed 27 years behind Israeli bars, said the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
June 4, 2020
- The Israeli army secured early this morning a site known as Joseph’s Tomb, inside the Palestinian-controlled northern West Bank city of Nablus, to allow dozens of settlers easy and secure access to the site
- Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian residential tin house in the town of Beit Ummar in the south of the occupied West Bank on the pretext it was built without a permit, displacing a family of 10 members, according to Mohammad Awad
- Israeli police handed the head of the Higher Islamic Council and former Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, an order banning him from entering the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for four months.
- Israeli forces detained 19 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
- Israeli settlers cut down around 36 fully grown and years old olive trees in the village of Burin to the south of Nablus, the northern occupied West Bank
June 5, 2020
- Israeli forces dawn Friday detained two Palestinians from the northern West Bank district of Jenin
- At least six Palestinians were injured this day by Israeli forces’ gunfire and many others suffocated from gas inhalation, during protests condemning Israeli government’s plan to annex territory in the occupied West Bank to its sovereignty.
- Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian journalist at Beit Iksa checkpoint, to the northwest of Jerusalem
June 6, 2020
- Israeli military ordered a halt on the construction of a basic school and confiscated a bulldozer which was working on the project in the village of Kisan, near the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank
- At least five Palestinians were injured this day when Israeli troops attacked dozens of protesters demonstrating in the village of Kafr Qaddum, in the northwest of the West Bank, against the Israeli plan to annex parts of the occupied territory to Israeli sovereignty.
