President Mahmoud Abbas chaired today evening a meeting of the Central Committee of ruling Fatah Movement at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
The meeting discussed the measures required to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, in light of the sharp increase in cases registered during the recent few days, in addition to the Israeli plan to annex portions of the occupied West Bank.
The meeting affirmed that peace can only be achieved by adhering to resolutions of international community based on creating an independent state of Palestine on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The Central Committee of Fatah also affirmed its commitment to the resolutions of the international community and its commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative, as well as the resolutions adopted by the Palestine Liberation Organization.
