The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced today the first death from novel COVID-19 (coronavirus) among the Palestinian community in the United Kingdom. This raises the number of diaspora Palestinians worldwide who died from the disease to 49.
Earlier today, the ministry announced that three Palestinians living in the United Arab Emirate (UAE) have died from coronavirus.
In addition, 20 new corona cases among the Palestinian community in the UAE were recorded, raising the overall number among diaspora Palestinians to 1042, said the ministry.
Most of the deaths and cases in the diaspora are in the United States.
