Israeli Violations in Palestine
The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on our Palestinian people by violations against prisoners in the occupation prisons, Establishing Israeli settlement in the Palestinian territories, military notifications, settler attacks, arrests among Palestinian citizens and children, acts of Judaization of Jerusalem, and racist statements in the Israeli media.
The highlight of the week is the violations towards the Palestinian Prisoners who have the right for health and freedom in these difficult circumstances, especially the spread of the Coronavirus and the lake of the lack of medical attention.
March 22, 2020
- Israeli occupation authorities announced last night the full closure of all crossings with the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, as part of ongoing precautions against the spread of novel COVID-19 (coronavirus).
- Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian vehicle near the entrance to the village of Nilin, west of Ramallah, late last night killing one person
March 23, 2020
- Israeli forces detained last night and early this morning five Palestinians, including two minors, from the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem
- A Palestinian serving a life sentence in Israeli prisons for his resistance of its occupation has completed yesterday 17 years behind bars, today said the head of the Jenin branch of the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS)
- Israeli settlers attacked with stones Palestinian motorist in the north of the West Bank, causing damage but no injuries.
- Israeli police Monday evening detained four Palestinians for disinfecting public facilities near the Lions’ Gate in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
March 24, 2020
- Israeli settlers attacked the night before several Palestinian homes in the village of Madama, to the south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus
- Israeli forces razed Palestinian lands near the northern West Bank village of Jalud, south of Nablus, in order to expand a nearby illegal Israeli settlement
- Israeli forces blocked off today a number of entrances of villages and towns to the south of the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
- Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian residents of the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, injuring two.
- Israeli soldiers opened fire and injured a Palestinian youth near the village Deir Nitham, west of Ramallah, and closed its entrance.
- Israeli settlers Tuesday attacked a Palestinian house in Burqa village, north of Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
- Israeli soldiers in control of the old town of the divided southern West Bank city of Hebron barred Palestinian volunteers from disinfecting the neighborhoods and educating the local population on the coronavirus pandemic
- Israeli forces Tuesday evening detained two Palestinian brothers from Khirbet Ein al-Hilweh village in the northern Jordan Valley.
March 25, 2020
- A Palestinian political prisoner in the Israeli Nafha prison in the south of Israel set fire this morning to a room used by the prison guards to protest the prison administration’s neglect of the health conditions for the prisoners.
- The Israeli military authorities ordered residents of the Jordan Valley to stop installing solar panels in their village.
- Israel is set Wednesday evening to release two out of four Palestinian prisoners who have been exposed to the novel coronavirus, announced the Prisoners’ Affairs Committee.
- The Israeli army closed today entrances to two Palestinian villages in the north of the West Bank using cement blocks
- Scores of Palestinians suffocated from Israeli military teargas west of Shweika neighborhood, north of Tulkarem city in the northern West Bank.
- Israeli settlers Wednesday damaged 50 olive trees and grapevines in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem city.
March 26, 2020
- Israeli forces demolished a residential structure and seized tents and other equipment in the Jordan Valley village of Ibziq, north of the occupied West Bank city of Tubas.
- Israeli forces demolished three Palestinian-owned houses in the village of al-Diyouk, west of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, under the pretext they were built without permit
- Israeli forces Thursday demolished a farming shed and a water well in Deir Ballut town, west of Salfit city
March 27, 2020
- At least six one Palestinian man was injured by Israeli occupation forces during the weekly protest against Israeli settlement construction, which takes place every week in the village of Kafr Qaddum in the occupied West Bank
- Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian herders and other civilians in the village of Al-Tuwani, south of the city of Hebron in the West Bank
March 28, 2020
- Israeli warplanes and artillery attacked late last night several locations in the north of the blockaded Gaza Strip causing damage but no injuries
- Israeli settlers cut down 300 olive trees in Palestinian land in the south of the West Bank
- For the second day in a row, fanatic Jewish settlers attacked today the village of Al-Tuwani, south of the city of Hebron in the West Bank
- Israeli occupation forces demolished a room belonging to a Palestinian villager in the village of Zawiya, near the West Bank town of Salfit
