President Mahmoud Abbas commended today the ongoing efforts of the Palestinian private medical sector and the security forces against the spread of the novel coronavirus epidemic, of which 31 cases were confirmed in Palestine so far since last week.
In separate phone calls with the heads of the security forces, the President expressed his appreciation for the hard-work the forces have made since the outbreak of the epidemic in Palestine last week.
President Abbas also thanked the private health sector for their support to the Palestinian government in its ongoing campaign against the spread of the disease.
A state of emergency declared by President Abbas last week enters today its second, with 31 cases of coronavirus confirmed to date.
