Jordan’s King Abdullah II reaffirmed today Jordan’s firm stance towards the Palestinian cause, and the importance of ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state solution, leading to the establishment of an independent state of Palestine on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, according to Jordan’s official news agency, Petra.
During a meeting today with High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EU Commission, Josep Borrell, king Abdallah stressed the key role of the EU in this regard.
