9/1/1948: The Battle of Sahel Al-Houla: The Syrian and Lebanese volunteers participated with their Palestinian brothers against the Zionist colonies that were established on the land of our beloved country. The battle extended from dawn until nine in the morning, and the enemy sustained heavy losses. It was reported that this battle came as revenge for blowing up the Semiramis Hotel in Jerusalem and avenge the martyrs who fell there.
