Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Minister of Social Development, Ahmad Majdalani, discussed with UN Humanitarian Coordinator, Jamie McGoldrick, cooperation and coordination to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, develop social services and increase humanitarian assistance.
Majdalani, during a meeting in Ramallah, briefed the UN coordinator on the latest cash transfer program for poor families, stressing that the Ministry of Development provides assistance to the poorest and needy families.
Majdalani pointed out that the ministry and its partners are working to adopt the concept of a multi-dimensional poverty in preparation for approval and adoption by the cabinet.
For his part, McGoldrick stressed the full readiness to cooperate with the government to facilitate the work and ensure integrity and transparency.
