West Bank hospitals recorded five new births every hour during the month of August for a total of 3492 new born, today said the Ministry of Health.
It also said its hospitals performed seven surgeries and carried out 1140 lab tests every hour during the same month.
Emergency rooms received 82,527 patients in August, performed 4877 surgeries, did 578,000 lab tests, 49,168 x-rays, 7961 CT scans and 1257 RMIs and received 39,000 people in its outpatient clinics.
