Mass wedding for 90 Palestinian and Syrian couples will be held today in Damascus, sponsored by President Mahmoud Abbas.
Ambassador Anwar Abdul-Hadi, the director of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), said that this wedding represents a message of the solidarity between both brotherly peoples, which is the completion of a series of weddings held in the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon, as the composition of the family is part of the resistance to occupation.
Abdel Hadi pointed out that a presidential reward will be given to them to help them start a new life.
” This is also a message to all of us that the PLO is the sponsor of our people around the world at all levels of humanity, life and society,” he added.
