Fatah movement in Egypt strongly condemned Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, which so far led to the killing of 22 Palestinians including women and children, and the injury of dozens others, as well as the destruction of houses and cultural institutions.
The movement considered this Israeli military escalation a continuation of Israel’s crimes and a violation of international law, resolutions, and agreements.
Fatah called on sisterly Egypt, Arab-sister states, Arab league, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and United Nation, to act to stop this unjust Israeli aggression and compel Israel to respect international law, to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and to realize Palestinian right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
